How We Work
We approach every project, whatever the scale or level of client involvement, using the same process. We oversee every detail from creating concepts and managing architectural work through to positioning art and choosing the bed linen.
Brief
Our design team will arrange an initial meeting to understand your requirements, personal style and aspirations for the project. We will discuss timescales and budget. Following this thorough briefing, we will send a proposal detailing the brief with an estimated budget for the FF&E and our associated design fee.
Concept
We will present the concept designs, consisting of floor plans with proposed furniture layouts and any structural changes, mood boards with samples of proposed colour palettes, materials and finishes. This will include imagery of suggested furniture and joinery concepts. We encourage as much feedback as possible at this collaborative stage.
Design
Once the concept designs are approved, we will progress to the detail – final bespoke furniture, joinery and interior architecture drawings will be presented. We will include final finishes, fixtures and fittings and accessories and a full itemised breakdown of costs for the client to approve. CGI renders of key areas may also be included.
Technical Drawings
On approval of the above, we will create detailed construction drawings and product/installation specifications. We’ll also liaise with external consultants, contractors and suppliers to source any specialist materials. The schedule of works will be outlined and agreed.
Realisation
We will take care of all procurement and once works commence, your dedicated project co-ordinator will attend regular site meetings to ensure designs are being carried out to our exact specification, supervise deliveries and ensure the project is going as planned.
We will keep the client updated throughout and oversee any snagging. Our Interior Styling team will work on creating the special finishing touches from bed linens to objets d’art.
Once complete, we will hand over the project and provide aftercare and maintenance recommendations.
